So I had to use them a few times to get a good comparison. One thing I noticed is the size of these huggies skin essentials size 2 are the same size as pamper swaddlers size one. The only difference I seen was the straps for the huggies go farther around the belly area. Otherwise, they have a similar absorbency, feeling, softness, and fit as the swaddlers.

I was pleasantly surprised at how soft these diapers are!! They of course still hold true to the same Huggies quality, but they are a step above. My son is extremely active, and these did not leak at all. I would definitely buy and recommend to other moms.

These are a great diapers. They just what we need as parents to make sure our babies are still able to feel dry after wetting their diapers. The cute Mikey designs adds a cute touch and love the wet indication line that changes colors when diaper needs to be changed. Over a solid diaper and will continue to use.

I like the new Huggies skin essential diapers because my newborn baby wears a size one and he has sensitive skin and it does not leave behind any fibers on my baby's skin like some other brands. It does not leak and also the wet line indicator is dark enough. I love this diapers and I highly recommend it!

What I like about them is that they are super soft and I love the stretchable adhesive. I recieved these full bag sample and I compared it with the brand I use for my 3month baby. Pampers swaddlers. The second day using these Huggies it was bad because my baby just pooped and everything came out through the sides and half way to her back and got it all over my husband that was holding her. Again in 3months I been only using pampers swaddlers and never had that happen.

Huggies has been my go to diaper for all 3 of my kids. It is simply the best in my opinion. These Skin Essentials diapers are no exception. The diapers fit snugly but comfortably. They fit just right around the waist and legs without leaving behind any red marks. We didn't experience ANY leaks, even when my child wore them overnight. That is impressive as many of the cheaper brands leak. They even withheld some major poo-fests. LOL I feel comfortable putting these on my child since they are free of phthalates, parabens, elemental chorine, lotions, fragrance and latex. My child didn't experience any diaper rash while wearing these diapers! His skin was super dry even after a fully soaked diaper. I was impressed!

These diapers are great. Compared to normal Huggies, they are softer which is probably great if your child has any skin sensitivity. The constructions are quite similar but the skin essentials aren’t quite as absorbent as the regular ones so I probably would not purchase them over the regular Huggies since my daughter doesn’t have any issues with skin sensitivity. Overall they are great diapers but not worth the extra cost and lower absorbency unless you have skin sensitivity concerns.

My baby has been sensitive to a lot of diapers so having Huggies essential to test was such a wonderful experience. Not only was it great to my daughter’s skin but she also didn’t have any upper back mess when she had a blow out that tried to seek up her back. The diaper kept all the poop in and even those she is rolling over early(or should I said be able to roll once lol) she also didn’t have anything seek out the sides. The diaper is brand Huggies is known for being good but not only is it good quality it is also gentle to the baby’s skin. I already use Huggies but not this one specifically. I will be switching.

Soft on my babies bum. I've tried coterie, honest, pampers, Millie moon ..and it is comparable to coterie and Millie moon texture...but my baby did have more blowouts compared to Huggies snugglers. That's probably the only reason why I won't be purchasing it.

I've been using regular huggies for a while now, so this was a good opportunity for me to see how much better these Skin Essentials are, compared to the regular ones. And after using them for couple of weeks, I can say that while there is a physical difference (see photos), I don't need to necessarily jump at the chance of to use these as an upgrade.

I LOVED these diapers. We've tried all the huggies diapers on the market before this and they either didn't have a great fit, didn't hold up over night or the velcro band on the waist was very stringy and I worried about those strands getting in my sons diaper but this diaper fixed all of those issues! It held up to an 8 hour overnight hold like a champ, has a great fit that flexes with my squirmy 6 month old and best of all no stringy deteriorating. We were a pampers swaddles only family before we tried these diapers but these have been added to our diaper arsenal now!

First off, these diapers are incredibly soft. Huggies clearly put some thought into making them gentle on sensitive baby skin. The material feels like a cozy blanket, which is a huge plus when you want to avoid diaper rash. My little one hasn’t had ANY issues, and that’s saying something because we’ve battled with rashes in the past using other brands. These diapers are ultra soft, making them gentle on baby skin, which helps avoid diaper rash & the torture baby has to experience as well as our own. They fit snug & comfortable, yet they have a nice stretchy waist & leg bands. No leaks or messy surprises & the wetness indicator is a lifesaver! As far as absorbency, these diapers perform well, They’re also fragrance-free, great for sensitive skin. Overall, Huggies Skin Essentials Diapers combine comfort, reliability, and thoughtful features that make parenting just a tad bit easier. So if you’re on the hunt for a new diaper, I definitely recommend these!
